Expectations for NPHC Undergraduate Chapters

NPHC operations

  1. The Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development (OSALD) will oversee the operations of NPHC. The Assistant Director of Programs & Greek Life will serve as the advisor and the Director for Student Activities will serve as the co-advisor for NPHC.
  2. OSALD will oversee the budget for NPHC. NPHC is required to provide the Office of Student Activities a monthly expenditures report.
  3. NPHC must complete the RSO registration by the deadline given to RSOs (i.e. member roster, calendar of events, etc.)
  4. NPHC is required to participate in annual events and programs, without the deliberation of voting at NPHC meetings. Organization members must check in at each event through the appropriate check-in process.

NPHC organizations are required to attend and participate in the following events:

  1. University events:

    1. AAMU Open House
    2. High School Senior Day
    3. Move-In Day
    4. Any other events deemed by the Office of Student Activities & Leadership Development
  2. Student Activities events:
    1. Bulldog Welcome Experience
    2. MLK Day Celebration Program
    3. Black History Month Program
    4. National Hazing Prevention Week activities
    5. NPHC Week activities
    6. Greek Life Training
    7. RSO Leadership Summit
    8. Bulldogs LEAD activities
    9. Thanksgiving Service Project
    10. Tree Lighting Ceremony
    11. Any other events deemed by the Office of Student Activities & Leadership Development
  3. Community Service:
    1. Each NPHC organization must complete a total of 200 documented community services hours each academic year.
